Residential

For over 40 years Samaritan Center for Young Boys and Families have provided Christian boarding school/residential care programs for boys throughout the state of Florida. We operate two boy's homes and will open another two homes over the next few years. We accept boys in grades 1-8th, ages 6-14.

We assist families with children experiencing mild to moderate behavior problems which may include school behavior issues, difficulties with academic performance or failure, disruptive family behavior, acting-out behaviors, defiance, disrespect, lying, peer issues, peer relationships, impulsive behaviors, character and integrity issues, communication problems, anger issues, self-respect problems, and other dysfunctional behaviors.

The Samaritan Center is designed to intervene in the life of a child before dysfunctional behavior becomes a lifestyle; causing more serious events (i.e. juvenile delinquency, court or state involvement). The Samaritan Center strives to provide a caring and therapeutic environment in which a boy will develop essential life skills and valuable character development assets. With these skills, he then is able to return to his home where he and his family are better prepared to communicate, relate, and establish a more functional family relationship.
