Samaritan Center's serene 11-acre campus on Cove Road in Stuart, Florida is an ideal setting for living, learning and changing lives for the better.
The boys live in one of two cottages on campus: Garden Cottage or Meadow Cottage. These residences are a therapeutic program in and of themselves. Each cottage is run by experienced, well-trained teaching parents who safeguard the boys and provide daily instruction in social skills, basic etiquette and decision making.
Every boy has his own bedroom, and there are designated areas in each cottage for play and quiet time. There are comfortable living rooms as well as large dining rooms where the boys gather for three nutritional meals each day.
The Seymour St. John Learning Center is at the heart of our academic curriculum. This beautiful campus school, constructed in 2012, was designed to facilitate learning and independent study.
The spacious facility features a large multi-purpose area, private rooms for tutoring and counseling, an on-site library, and a classroom with an “office” for each boy, where he can concentrate on his work without distraction. There is also a computer bank where the boys learn computer skills and utilize learning software. The computers are carefully monitored and filtered to control accessible content.
When it’s time for a break, the boys enjoy pick-up games on the basketball court located just behind the Learning Center.
