Community Involvement

"The First Tee of the Treasure Coast enjoys a great relationship with the Samaritan Center. The progress of these young men is remarkable; they have a promising future, thanks to the Samaritan Center."

Samaritan Center is blessed with widespread support throughout our community, with many organizations and businesses helping to change our boys' lives for the better. Some make needed improvements to our campus, or help us provide services at an affordable cost. Others offer counseling or sponsor after-school programming that allows our boys to experience activities they never dreamed they would have the opportunity to explore.

We believe that community involvement goes both ways. That belief is the inspiration – and the promise – behind Samaritan Center’s “Attitude of Gratitude” outreach to charitable organizations throughout the community.

We believe that community involvement goes both ways. That belief is the inspiration – and the promise – behind Samaritan Center’s “Attitude of Gratitude” outreach to charitable organizations throughout the community. On a regular basis, our boys volunteer their time and talents to help non-profits in the area: delivering Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors, holding food and supply drives for various organizations, visiting veterans and thanking them for their service, and delivering thank-you baskets to first responders.

“Attitude of Gratitude” teaches our boys the importance of giving back to others, and shows them first-hand the needs that exist right here on the Treasure Coast. The program is a win-win for everyone, and is a valuable lesson they will carry with them throughout their lives.
